Clearwater Managing Director Kevin Horak received a personal invitation from the Prime Minister the Right Honourable Gordon Brown MP to hear first hand about progress of the MDGs.
In a highly exclusive meeting; Clearwater was amongst 80 of the Worlds leading and largest companies to be invited to the ‘Business Call to Action’
The United Nations Millennium Development Goals were agreed by World leaders at the UN Millennium Summit to set measurable targets by 2015 to reduce extreme poverty and develop a global partnership for development (to name a couple). 
Kevin Horak on behalf of Clearwater signed the declaration and pledged its commitment to the MDGs. Clearwater has developed a substantial programme to work with Corporate development in areas of instability or where there are difficulties with infrastructure and resources. He went on to say that “we are confident that our new programmes with help put the MDGs on track and increase growth and prosperity for new areas of trade”

The Clearwater MD has taken an active role with other Corporate companies who have also signed the declaration.

Following an invitation by Raymond G Chambers – Special Envoy of the Secretary General for Malaria & Peter Chernin President and COO of News Corporation and Chairman Malaria No More, Clearwater has pledged to support the Charity in its goal to eradicate this curable disease.
Clearwater was invited to the Dorchester Hotel in London to hear about the important work of the Charity and what businesses can do to help.
3,000 children die each day from Malaria and the provision of enough bed nets could end Malaria by 2012.
Clearwater along with other leading businesses are supporting this wholly worthwhile charity.
