Why Do You Need Close Protection Training?

In March 2006 it became illegal to work in Close Protection in the United Kingdom unless you are a holder of a front line Close Protection licence. By training with Clearwater you are being trained to an approved standard by an approved company. We will deliver to you the required necessary skills as stipulated by the British Security Industry Authority (SIA) which is the regulatory body that after training you will apply to if you require a British license. For International students it will be entirely up to you if you wish to apply for a British license or not.

We have a very close relationship with the SIA and we were part of their original steering group when the standards were being set.

However, this standard goes far beyond the British Isles and for non UK residents this standard and the quality of training is becoming more recognised in many other countries. Clearwater teach to individuals from all around the World where British standards and ethics are very respected.

We teach this qualification to those working in hostile environments that are affiliated to Government departments, for further information please contact us.
