Why Is Close Protection Training Necessary?

In March 2006 it became illegal to work in Close Protection in the United Kingdom unless you are a holder of a front line Close Protection licence. You must train to an approved standard with an approved company. That company must deliver to you the required standard as stipulated by the British Security Industry Authority (SIA).

We have a very close relationship with the SIA and we were part of their original steering group when the standards were being set.

However, this standard goes far beyond the British Isles and the 'standard' is becoming more recognised (even if not officially) in many other countries. Clearwater teach to individuals from all around the World where British standards and ethics are very respected.

We also teach this  qualification to those working in hostile environments that are affiliated to Government departments.

We also undertake training in other countries and design bespoke courses to suit an individual client. For any specialist training enquiry please contact us.
