The Close Protection Federation is only open to those who have trained with us. 

Criteria

• Students must pass the Clearwater 14 day Training Course in Protective Security to become a member.
  
  
  
• Membership is free of charge and made available to the Student upon successful completion of the course.
  
  
  
• Every Member receives their own pin badge, photograph with the Clearwater Managing Director & Head of Training as well as a certificate of membership.

What Does It Entitle Me To?  

If you pass our course you will become a Member of the Close Protection Federation. It is up to the individual whether he or she wishes to utilise it. By becoming a Member we can be an advisory service to you and mentor you - if you require it; we are prepared to do this for three years from the date of your certificate.

You will receive your own unique log in identification number and pass code and you can enter this into the Members only area of this web site for support. The support service is completely free of charge to Members and we will guarantee you a response in 24 hours (except holiday periods)* You can submit enquiries to us about contracting, tendering, employment and the industry generally. 

Note: We cannot offer legal advice; any advice or assistance given should not be interpreted or acted on in that way. 

You will also be offered if you want to have your own pressence on the Clearwater website within the Members Directory - this is totally optional. Many of our students are currently working in the Close Protection Industry and their work may be of a very private nature or they are operating in conflict countries (as an example); therefore a web pressence is totally up to the individual. In the Members Directory you can have a brief biography about yourself and you will have your own email address e.g. joebloggs@closeprotectionfederation .com. You can use this in your own marketing and it is a totally secure way of marketing yourself. You will also be welcome to use the Close Protection Federation Logo for your own stationary, business cards and personal website.        

Please Note:

Membership of the Federation is free of charge. Students do not have to pay any extra for this service. The Close Protection Federation is designed to assist our Students and Operatives and develop the profile of the Close Protection Industry - It is non profit making. Membership of the Federation is there to assist you. 

Membership of the Federation is not simply something to put on a CV or something that anyone can buy; it needs to be earned. You need to pass our Close Protection 14 day Course and Earn the Qualification in Protective Security.
